SUMMARY:2022 St. Lawrence International Junior Carp Tournament
DESCRIPTION:The 19th St. Lawrence International Junior Carp Fishing Tournament is being hosted in Waddington\, NY. The tournament takes place over two days along a 30 mile stretch of the St. Lawrence River. Kids aged 11-18 are eligible to take part. Trophies and Cash Prizes are awarded to winners and runners up. This is a Catch and Release Fishing Event organized and supported by the Carp Anglers Group of North America. Adults may also fish\, if done so with a child\, but are only eligible for medals!\n\nThere are four age divisions: 11-14 girls\, 11-14 boys\, 15-18 girls\, and 15-18 boys.\n\nPrizes are awarded in each of the four age divisions\, based on heaviest carp caught\, as follows: 1st place - trophy and $800\, 2nd place - trophy and $400\, 3rd place - trophy and $200\, overall grand champion - an addition $1000.\n\nParticipants all compete individually\, however\, may also be part of a team of 2-4 people\; 1st place team - gold medal\, 2nd place team - silver medal\, 3rd place team - bronze medal.\n\nAdult Division: 1st place - gold medal\, 2nd place - silver medal\, 3rd place - bronze medal\n\nThere is also a large variety of miscellaneous awards that vary from year to year such as first fish\, last fish\, smallest fish\, biggest fish\, good effort\, and special catch.
