DESCRIPTION:Have some harvest-season fun from 2 to 4 pm on Saturday\, October 14th\, 2017\, at the St. Lawrence County Historical Association at the Silas Wright House\, 3 East Main St.\, Canton! Kids will press apple cider\, paint pumpkins\, make pine-cone turkeys and leaf placemats\, and more as they learn about fall agricultural traditions. This is another of the SLCHA's fun and free programs for kids ages 4-10 and their parents or caregivers.\n\n \n\nChildren's books\, like The Adirondack Kids: The Fall of Fort Ticonderoga by Justin & Gary VanRiper and The First Thanksgiving\, by Linda Hayward\, are available for purchase at the SLCHA.  Old-fashioned toys like spinning tops\, jacks\, and Jacob's ladders are also available\, and SLCHA members receive a 10% discount on most items in the Gift Shop.
