DESCRIPTION:Washington Irving's classic story\, "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" will come to life in a haunting storytelling by Jonathan Kruk on Thursday\, October 18th at 7:00pm in the Unitarian Universalist Church\, 3   East Main St.\, Canton. The St. Lawrence County Historical Association is excited to host this family friendly event which will be spooky fun for all ages. Free and open to the public with "pass the hat" donations.\n\nAudiences are entranced by Kruk's ability to embody Irving's iconic characters and receive chills from an accompanying pipe organ played by Jim Keyes. Jonathan Kruk has been a professional storyteller since 1989 and he now presents over two-hundred performances annually. He has also appeared on CBS Sunday Morning\, ABC Good Morning America\, the National Geographic Channel\, and more. His performances have been described as thrilling\, intrepid\, and spellbinding by the Wall Street Journal\, New York Times\, and Broadway World. The Hudson Valley Magazine even named Kruk\, "Best Storyteller in the Hudson Valley."\n\nParking is available behind the St. Lawrence County Historical Association. Enter next to the museum\, at the Unitarian Church's rear entrance.
