DESCRIPTION:The St. Lawrence County Chamber hosts a monthly webinar series titled 'Lunch and Learn'. On the first Wednesday of each month\, we have a webinar that covers topics relevant to businesses in St. Lawrence County. This is a free webinar thanks to the sponsorship from St. Lawrence University and Clarkson University.\n\n\n\nJune Topic: Cancer is one of the top five most costly diseases in the United States.  It leads to substantial work loss\, both in terms of the number of work days lost and absenteeism costs.  In this webinar\, we will explore the burden of cancer in the workplace and how employers can impact the health of their employees and save money by taking a few simple steps.\n\n\n\nPresenter Bio: Patricia Hogle is the Cancer Prevention in Action Project Coordinator with the St. Lawrence County Health Initiative.  She brings over 20 years of experience in the prevention field to this new project. Previously\, Patricia tackled issues around drug prevention and addiction.
