Our rural food system is powered by many hard working farm suppliers\, growers\, wholesale distributors\, retail stores\, cooperatives\, and restaurants\, along with local organizations and customers. Come explore our foodshed and discover the diversity of products created in the North Country. See details for the 30+ farms and food businesses that are participating. This event is organized and publicized by Cornell Cooperative Extension of St. Lawrence County\, but each participating business chooses the activiites and format of their own events.\n\nWin a $100 gift certificate!\n\nComplete a free online entry at each Local Foods Weekend location you visit for a chance to win a $100 gift certificate to your business of choice.\n\nNew in 2023: Extension is collaborating with the area non-profit SLC Arts who is offering outdoor (Plein Air) painting at farms across St. Lawrence County in the days leading up to Local Foods Weekend. These paintings will be on display during the participating businesses Local Foods Weekend activities. Plein Air painting locations are noted below in the participating businesses list.
