SUMMARY:North Country Wild Showcase
DESCRIPTION:North Country Wild Showcase\n\nPart 2\n\n\n\nSpend a morning in beautiful Heritage Park in downtown Canton learning about Nature Up North's North Country Wild (NOCO Wild) community science program! The NOCO Wild program has the goal of studying the ways in which animals move throughout St. Lawrence County and how they behave in different habitats.\n\n\n\nNature Up North is enlisting community members from across the North Country to help answer these questions by having participants take game cameras home and put them on their properties\, recording the animals that are there.\n\n\n\n*In this SECOND portion the two-part event\, Nature Up North will collect the cameras placed around Heritage Park a month prior (April 5). You will learn about the information collected after cameras have been retrieved and get to see what wildlife has been able to be captured on camera!\n\n\n\nAre there black bear and moose visiting Heritage Park? You'll have to come to this workshop to find out!\n\n\n\n*Participants not able to make "part 1" and would like to join for "part 2" activities may still attend to discover information collected!
