DESCRIPTION:Norwood Beach Youth + Adult Triathlons\n\nThe Town of Potsdam Recreational Dept. is hosting a recreational Triathlon competition on Friday\, July 1st with two divisions\, for kids and adults. \n\n\n\nThe triathlon is a sport that has gained popularity in recent years. Whether you are a serious swimmer\, cyclist or runner\, or an average recreational athlete\, you can enjoy this time trial which includes swimming/kayaking\, cycling and running. The triathlon is used by some as a training tool to sharpen their skills. To others\, it offers the personal challenge of developing fitness in three different activities.\n\n\n\nYouth Triathlon (Ages 4-10)\n\n5PM - 6PM\n\nHelmets are required and lifejackets are permitted.\n\n	100-Yard Swim\n	2-Mile Bike\n	1-Mile Run\n\nAdults (Ages 11+)\n\n6PM - 7:30PM\n\nHelmets are required. \n\n	1/4-Mile Swim (or 1-Mile Kayak)\n	8-Mile Bike\n	1.5-Mile Run
