DESCRIPTION:It is not too early to start creating or looking to improve your North Country summer garden\; indeed\, the upcoming winter is the season to make such plans.  A special workshop entitled "Organic Gardening Planning & Practices" will feature Daniel Martin of Martin's Needham Road Farm Stand\, sharing his proven techniques and strategies for a successful garden.\n\n\n\nThe Local Living Venture will offer this workshop on Saturday\, October 10 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. as part of it's year-round Resourceful Living Skills Workshop program.\n\n\n\nMartin will cover the basics of  tilling\, harvest\, cover cropping & much more to prepare gardeners for the upcoming Winter planning season.  Participants will gain new skills and insight as they walk the fertile fields at Daniel and Mendy Martin's farm.
