DESCRIPTION:Remington Arts Festival Student Art Competition Exhibit Opening and Awards\n\n\nExhibit Opening Reception\n\nSeptember 29\, 10:00 am-1:00 pm with awards presentation at 12:00 pm\n\nExhibit September 29-October 13\n \n\nJoin us for the opening of the annual Remington Student Art Exhibit!  A reception for the public\, area art teachers\, and students will take place from 10am-1pm with a short awards ceremony at noon. The display includes two dimensional artwork\, fabric (fiber art) and three dimensional pieces by students in grades K-12. Categories include Drawing\, Painting\, Sculpture\, Fiber Art\, Photography\, and Miscellaneous and Multi-Student Work. This popular annual display highlights the creativity\, range\, and thoughtfulness of area students as they explore different artistic mediums. This year's theme is "Art Excellence in North Country Schools." TAUNY is pleased to partner in this event to help share the expressions of kids and young adults from many communities around the region.
