SUMMARY:Remington II Canoe & Kayak Race
DESCRIPTION:The Remington II is a 6 mile downstream race on the Oswegatchie River from Rensselaer Falls to Heuvelton\, NY. The course is primarily flatwater\, however there are two short sets of Class I rapids which may be run or portaged depending on the water level.  Online preregistration is required and will be limited to 50 paddlers! You must also download\, print and sign a liability waiver and bring it with you on race day! Following the awards ceremony many paddlers choose to paddle back to the starting line.\nRace Details\n\nHeadquarters and launch are on West Front Street\, Rensselaer Falls\, NY. Look for the St. Lawrence Valley Paddlers banner!\n\n\n\nSocial distancing is required while on shore! Please wear a mask if you cannot maintain at least a 6 foot separation.\n\n\n\nThere will be no awards or awards ceremony.
