DESCRIPTION:ST. LAWRENCE INTERNATIONAL JR. CARP TOURNAMENT\n\nThe 21st Annual St. Lawrence International Junior Carp Fishing Tournament\, hosted by the Carp Anglers Group\, will be held on July 18 - 20\, 2024 with headquarters in Waddington\, NY. This three-day Catch & Release Fishing Event will include two-days of fishing along a 30-mile stretch of the St. Lawrence River. Trophies and cash prizes are awarded to winners & runners up. The Carp Anglers Group will provide assistance for children throughout the 3-day event. \n\n\n\nWho is Eligible?\n\nParticipants must be ages 11 - 18 to register\, and are eligible for trophies and cash prizes. Participants also qualify if:\n\n	You turn 11 years of age between July 18th and August 31st\, 2024\n	You turn 19 years of age between July 1st and July 18th\, 2024\n\n(4) Age Divisions:\n\n\n	11 - 14 Girls\n	11 - 14 Boys\n	15 - 18 Girls\n	15 - 18 Boys\n\nAwards:\n\nPrizes are awarded in each of the (4) divisions\, based on heaviest (4) carp caught. ** Note: The following values are based from 2023 prize packages\, but SUBJECT TO CHANGE DEPENDENT OF NUMBER OF REGISTRANTS.\n\n	1st Place- Trophy and $800*\n	2nd Place- Trophy and $400*\n	3rd Place- Trophy and $200*\n	Overall Grand Champion - an additional $1\,000*\n	Riley Basford Memorial Sportsmanship Award\n\nThere is also a large variety of miscellaneous awards that vary from year to year including: first fish\, last fish\, smallest fish\, biggest fish\, good effort\, and special catch.\n\n\n\nTeams:\n\nParticipants all complete individually\, however\, may also be part of a team of 2\, 3\, or 4 people to qualify for team prizes.\n\n	1st Place - Gold Medal\n	2nd Place - Silver Medal\n	3rd Place - Bronze Medal\n\nRegistration\n\n\n	Download 2024 Junior Carp Tournament Registration & Information Packet HERE\n	Deadline for registration is Friday\, July 5th.\n	Registration cost covers the Carp Fishing School\, as well as the 2-day tournament\n\nParticipant Sponsorship Opportunities & Equipment Rentals\n\nA limited amount of participant sponsorships are available for those who qualify and equipment is available for fist time participants who would like to 'give carp fishing a try' before renting or buying your own.
