Since 1999\, this distinguished position has brought nationally recognized writers to campus to inspire\, teach\, and connect with our literary community.\n\n\n\nOn Thursday\, April 2\, 2026\, welcome back 3 poets for 2 events: Lillian Yvonne Bertram\, Santee Frazier\, and Kirsten Kaschock. Detailed biographies and event information can be found here.\n\n\n\nFor over 50 years the Writers Series program at St. Lawrence University has welcomed all varieties of authors including Pulitzer Prize winners.
