DESCRIPTION:2024 STLC TOURISM DINNER\n\nST. LAWRENCE COUNTY\, LIFE UNDISCOVERED\n\n\n\nThe St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce will host a celebration of the tourism industry in the County providing an opportunity to recognize and reward excellence\, encourage the highest standard in visitor experience\, and emphasize the value of the tourism sector. Celebrations will take place at the Best Western University Inn\, Canton on Wednesday\, June 12 from 6:30 - 8:30pm.\n\n\n\nThis year's presentations will feature the exciting new STLC sport tourism initiative and an overview of ongoing STLC tourism promotions and special projects. The evening will kick-off with happy hour\, networking and live music by Jacques Kuno\, followed by a buffet dinner\, presentations and awards. All industry partners encouraged to attend and benefit from the impact that tourism brings to St. Lawrence County!\n\n\n\nEvent registration required. The sport tourism industry impacts many businesses. Attend and learn more about their initial discoveries\, opportunities and strategies.\n\n\n\nSTLC Tourism Promotion Initiatives | STLC Chamber Staff\n\nTif Amo\, Director of Tourism & Kathryn Puleo\, Tourism & Events Manager\n\nLearn how the STLC Tourism team promotes the county year-round with an emphasis on sustainability\, engagement\, and education. Learn how to "S.E.E. the big picture for STLC."\n\n\n\nThe STLC Chamber is the designated Tourism Promotion Agent for St. Lawrence County. In this role\, their dedicated tourism team works closely with I Love New York and the New York State Matching Funds Program\, along with engaging in active partnership with the Adirondack Regional Tourism Council and the Thousand Islands International Tourism Council in order to showcase St. Lawrence County to visitors in New York State and surrounding US states as well as throughout bordering areas of Canada. \n\n\n2024 STLC TOURISM AWARDS\n\n'Best to the Guest' Tourism Excellence Award\n\nThis award is presented to the individual\, business or organization that has been recognized for providing an excellent guest experience. Customer service\, unique offerings\, and attention to detail make this awardee stand out in the industry. Restaurants\, guides\, lodging\, and attractions will be recognized based on referral reputation in the community and online reviews from guests.\n\n\n\nBest Destination Marketing Initiative Award\n\nThis award is presented for the most outstanding tourism marketing campaign or initiative to raise awareness and attract visitors to St. Lawrence County.
