DESCRIPTION:Where Hope Finds Home\, a photo document recognizing refugees resettled in Lancaster\, Pennsylvania\, will be on display at Otto's Abode in Wanakena\, New York. The portraits and texts are the work of documentary photographer Kristin V. Rehder\, summer resident of Wanakena\, NY\, who lives in Lancaster\, Pa.\, with her partner Sue Washburn. Ten images are included from the larger photo document\, a project that covers over 60 refugees. Countries represented in this exhibit include Afghanistan\, Bhutan\, Burma\, Congo\, Cuba\, Iraq\, Russia\, South Sudan\, Syria\, and Vietnam. Her method includes color portraits of her subjects looking directly into the camera and photographed in natural light.
