SUMMARY:The Frederic Remington Art Museum pres. Consider This: Trooper of the Plains 1868
DESCRIPTION:Consider This: Trooper of the Plains 1868\n\n\n\nPresented by the Frederic Remington Art Museum.\n\n\n\nSponsored by The Enchanted Edible Forest at Cross Island Farms. \n\n\n\nRemington's twenty-first bronze subject\, The Trooper of the Plains 1868\, comes from his desire to record a moment of frontier history. Remington chose to depict this U.S. Cavalry trooper in mid gallop\, pistol drawn and horse in mid-stride with nothing but a small sage brush to support them.
