All about Apples

Description

Apple pie, applesauce, apple cider, dried apples, baked apples – there are so many ways to enjoy apples! Learn how to make some of these apple treats at 11am on October 10^th, 2015, at the next Second Saturday Children’s Program at the St. Lawrence County Historical Association at the Silas Wright House, 3 East Main St., Canton. Kids can learn about (and sample!) some of the many ways that people have historically enjoyed apples, try their hand at an old-fashioned cider press, and make an individual apple tart. This is another in the SLCHA’s series of fun and free monthly educational programs for kids ages 4-8 and their caregivers. Siblings are always welcome too!
