Mary Cantline with Kris Rozelle - Beyond the Periphery
Mary Cantline creates landscape paintings which capture the light as well as the arcadian surroundings of NNY, both out-of-doors and from her studio overlooking the St. Ragis River. Of import is the quality of natural light, and she captures well the ever-changing color, luminescence, and atmospheric conditions of the seasons.
Kris Rozelle's work is a direct reflection of the journey through pain, illness, hardship, joy, and peace -- as a chrysalis waiting to break free. Her paintings are a conduit to her inner self and a way of reflecting and recounting where she's bee, where she is, and where she is going.
