Cheese sampling in Potsdam

The Potsdam Food Co-op's 2nd Thursday Sampling will be held on November 9th from 3:30 - 5:30 pm in their store at 24 Elm Street. The Say Cheese Please! feature will be Fresh Goat Cheese from Vermont Creamery; November’s Cheese of the Month. Vermont Creamery has been producing their fresh goat cheese, or Chèvre, since 1984. This classic Chèvre is a simple, bright, rindless cheese of smooth texture and mild flavor. It can be crumbled on vegetables or pizza, mixed into omelets and dips, or stuffed into chicken breast or roasted peppers. Try a Co-op favorite and transform this silky cheese into a delicious holiday appetizer and layer it with cranberries, walnuts, and honey. You'll want to make this for your guests this season. It is easy to make and sure to impress. The Potsdam Food Co-op & Carriage House Bakery and Deli is located at 24 Elm St. and is open daily from 8am to 7pm. It is a member-owned cooperative grocery store (although membership is not required) where everyone is welcome to shop and anyone is welcome to join.
