CHJC Kinship Awareness Color Fun 5K Run/Walk
To avoid the trauma that results when children are placed in out-of-home care, the Family First Prevention Services Act (FFPSA) was enacted to alter the focus of the child welfare system toward keeping children safe with families.
On Saturday, September 9, 2023, the Children?s Home of Jefferson County?s (CHJC) Fostering Futures Program will host their 2nd annual Kinship Awareness Color Fun 5K Walk/Run. Registration begins at 8:00 am at the Remington Recreational Trail in Canton, New York, with the Color Fun Walk/Run beginning at 9:00 am.
REGISTRATION
A registration fee of $25.00 is required for all participants. The first 100 registrants will receive a free T-shirt. CHJC asks participants to register by August 14, 2023.
