The Potsdam Food Co-op's 3rd Thursday Sampling will be held on December 21st from 3:30 - 5:30pm. Featured will be delicious offerings, perfect for your holiday gatherings with friends and family. Warm up with Westsoy Chocolate Peppermint Stick Soymilk. A seasonal favorite, it is a delicious combination of chocolate and peppermint that will satisfy your cravings. Made with organic soy milk, this dairy-free beverage is wonderful when served warm for those chilly winter gatherings or as a cool, refreshing treat. Try offering it with a dessert, using it to wake up your morning coffee, or enjoying it as a well-deserved indulgence. You will also have the opportunity to try limited edition Buffalo Blue Minis from Bilinski's. These tasty Minis are all natural and made with humanely raised, free-range chicken that are fed an all vegetarian diet without antibiotics or growth hormones. Made with whole real ingredients, these little Minis are skinless, so there is no pork or lamb casing to remove. They are also gluten-free, wheat-free, and made in a facility that is completely peanut and tree nut free. On December 21st the Co-op will also offer samples of Fruffalo Wings. Just in time for the holidays and Super Bowl, vegetarian Fruffalo Wings promise to be spicy and piquant, daring and bold, crispy and saucy. By adapting traditional meat making practices, Field Roast of Seattle, WA have crafted real ‘meat’ made from grains, vegetables, and spices. Their products are delicious, made with real whole ingredients, and difficult to distinguish from the real thing. Fruffalo Wings are Field Roast’s best selling Smoked Apple Sage Sausage, cut on the bias, lightly battered, and fried to perfection. The Potsdam Food Co-op & Carriage House Bakery and Deli is located at 24 Elm St. and is open daily from 8am to 7pm. It is a member-owned cooperative grocery store (although membership is not required) where everyone is welcome to shop and anyone is welcome to join.
