Description
Founders' Weekend takes place July 15 and 16 at Van Rensselaer/Lighthouse Point in Ogdensburg, the site of Fort de la Presentation. Portrayers of military and civilian life will be on hand to take visitors back to the time of the French and Indian War.

10 am - noon: Cartridge Rolling for the young at heart with George Cherepon
10:30 am: Colonial Trade Demonstrations
10:30 am: Colonial Mid-Wife with Holly Miller
11 am: Water Battle Begins
11:30 am: Children's Muster
11:30 am: Lecture - "Seven Nations Wampum" with Darren Bonaparte
12:30 pm: Court Martial
1 pm: "Synopsis of the French and Indian War" with Jack Frost
1:30 pm: Land Battle begins
2:15 pm: Mock Duel followed by a medical demonstration
3 pm: English Country Dance Demo
3:30 pm: Children's Muster
4 pm: Gates Close
7:30 pm: English Country Dance at Freight House Restaurant.
