Description
Founders' Weekend takes place July 15 and 16 at Van Rensselaer/Lighthouse Point in Ogdensburg, the site of Fort de la Presentation. Portrayers of military and civilian life will be on hand to take visitors back to the time of the French and Indian War.
Calendar of Sunday's Event Follows:
7:30 am: Mass ~ Lighthouse Point (bring your own chair); On-site parking for the service / rain location = Nortre Dam Church.
10 am - noon: Cartridge Rolling for the young at heart with George Cherepon
11 am: Water Battle Begins
11:30 am: Children's Muster
1 pm: "Synopsis of the French and Indian War" with Jack Frost
1:30 pm: Land Battle begins
4 pm: Gates Close
