'Fun Run and Pork & Turkey Roast'

The Boondockers Snow Club and Degrasse Clare South Russell Volunteer Fire Department will hold its 2nd annual Fun Run and Pork & Turkey Roast on Saturday, Aug. 28. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. at DCSR, 2211 CR 27.

There is a $20 registration fee. Maps will be available. Ride wherever you want with no designated stops. Luck of the draw prizes (drawn at 5 p.m.) are $300 for first place, $200 for second place and $100 for third place.

There will be live music. Campers are welcome.

The meal includes roast pork, roast turkey, salt potatoes, cole slaw, pasta salad, rolls, dessert, tea, lemonade or water for $12.
