"LOREN AND MARK” (Loren Barrigar and Mark Mazengarb), world-class guitar musicians from New York and New Zealand, share a unique musical chemistry seldom found among musicians. Their live performances feature their spectacular technical grasp of the guitar and their outstanding musicality and spontaneous creativity Influenced by Jazz, Bluegrass, Western and Popular music, their guitar style is largely built upon the thumb-picking techniques pioneered by guitar greats Merle Travis, Chet Atkins, and Jerry Reed. The pair has toured extensively in the USA, Canada, Europe, Russia and New Zealand.
