KEEP IT COOL: DIY VEGETABLE STORAGE FOR ALL BUDGETS
Learn the storage needs of over a dozen crops including winter squash, cabbage, potatoes, onions, shallots, beets, carrots, cabbage, garlic, and turnips. -Tour an in-ground root cellar at an area farm. -See photos and videos with descriptions of half a dozen different storage areas including in homes, in outbuildings and in the ground. The examples will range from completely passive with no additional energy inputs to examples that include tools to adjust temperature/ventilation/humidity. - Meet other people who have experimented with various storage techniques.
