Norwood Beach Duathlon
Norwood Beach is once again hosting a trio of Duathlons this summer. A Duathlon is an athletic event that combines 2 different types of movement, in this case biking and running. Participants will begin with a 1.5 mile run before hopping on a bike for 8 miles, finally capped off by a second 1.5 mile run to the finish line. 

This year, the 3 races will be contested on June 28th, July 26th and August 23rd. Registration for each race will begin at 5 p.m. at Norwood Beach, followed by a 6 p.m. start time. The cost is $10 per race or $25 for all 3. 

All bikers will be required to wear a helmet and anyone under the age of 18 will need a parent or guardian's signature to participate.
