The Wachtmeister Field Station is located just south of the St. Lawrence University campus on Park Street/County Route 27 in Canton. If approaching from Canton Village, it is the first driveway on the left after passing over the wooden bow bridge over the Little River. If approaching from the south, the Field Station is the third driveway on the right after passing Kunoco.

Join Nature Up North for Insect Inns: Building Hotels for Bugs on Saturday, June 17th from 3:00pm - 4:30 pm. Learn a bit about the insects that bug hotels can attract and why they’re important, the do’s and don’ts of building one, and then use the materials we provide to build your own “insect inn” to take home! This event is free and great for all ages!
