OREBED SUGAR SHACK - MAPLE WEEKENDS

The Orebed Sugar Shack will be hosting activities during Maple Weekends to inform about their four generations of maple producers and their products. The offered activities are listed below. All activities are family-oriented and senior-friendly as well as free of charge. 

• Heated sugarhouse Guided tours (Learn how sap from a maple tree comes to the sugar shack and out of the evaporator as maple syrup)
• Learn to tap a tree
• Granulated maple sugar demonstrations
• See the equipment in operation
• See an old-fashioned backyard flat pan set up and functioning
• Samples of Maple Cotton Candy, Maple Syrup, Maple Cream & Maple Candy
• Face-painting
• Horse-drawn wagon rides; (11:00 am-3:00 pm)
• See & pet the Alpacas
• Chainsaw carving (Saturdays only)
• Raffle for adults
• Coloring contest for kids -rules on a post on our Facebook Page

Some of their products include pure maple syrup, granulated maple sugar, cream maple spread, maple sugar shapes, maple candy, maple coffee, maple cotton, maple dog biscuits, and gift baskets.
