Product Sampling in Potsdam

The Potsdam Food Co-op's 3rd Thursday Sampling continues on October 18th from 3:30 - 5:30 pm. Featured this month will be CBD Flower Blend Salve, CBD Relief Cream, & two CBD Oils. These quality products contain US organically grown ingredients, anti-inflammatory and anti-anxiety properties, and are often used to improve mood, reduce stress, and treat pain. The Flower Blend Salve by Head + Heal is a topical flower salve for nerves, muscles, and joints. It is made in small batches by the herbalists on a sustainably-run farm in Southern Oregon. The ingredients are organically-grown and pesticide free. This cream includes coconut oil infused with Arnica, St.John’s Wort, and Lavender; each to complement the natural anti-inflammatory and anti-viral properties of the hemp. Arnica is a strong anti-inflammatory that is used to heal bruises and reduce pain. St. John’s Wort helps with nerve regeneration and is used to heal sprains and strains. Lavender is a nervine, which works to relax the nervous system, helping to reduce anxiety and improve relaxation. Relief Cream by Green Earth Medicinals is a topical cream for nerves, muscles, and joints also made from organically-grown ingredients. The CBD Oils from Green Earth and Head + Heal are tinctures with anti-inflammatory and anti-anxiety properties. They are found to improve mood, reduce stress, and treat pain. The Potsdam Food Co-op & Carriage House Bakery and Deli is located at 24 Elm St. It is open daily from 8am to 7pm. It is a member-owned cooperative grocery store (although membership is not required) where everyone is welcome to shop and anyone is welcome to join.
