SOLAR ECLIPSE GLASSES
On April 8th, 2024, the world will witness a rare and spectacular event - a total solar eclipse. To help the public better understand and prepare for this celestial phenomenon, Dr. Timothy Abel, PhD, will be giving a presentation at the Ogdensburg History Museum, 206 Ford St. Dr. Abel, an adjunct professor of anthropology at SUNY Canton and senior archeologist at Timothy J. Abel, PhD, is also an amateur astronomer with a passion for celestial events. With his extensive knowledge and experience in both anthropology and astronomy, he is the perfect presenter to guide the audience through the upcoming solar eclipse.
