SOS Race Weekend
The SOS, Adirondack Exhibit Center invites you to join their one fundraising event of the year with a Silent Auction, Garage Sale, Food Concession, Pie Sale and 5K Race. You can help keep the SOS open with donations in the following ways:

5K Race: The George Persson Memorial Race take place on Sunday, August 6th at 11:00am. You can register beforehand or on the day of the race. Pick up a registration form on the door of the schoolhouse or visit adirondackexhibitcenter.org. To be a sponsor or for any race questions, call Joe Russo at 315-848-5326.

Silent Auction: Donations are welcome for the Silent Auction; new items, gift certificates, antiques, objects of art, or services. The value of the donation is tax deductible. Items can be dropped off at the SOS on Sundays from 1:00pm until 4:00pm. Call Sue Novak at 315-566-5329 with questions. 

Garage Sale: Garage Sale take place on Saturday, August 5th form 9:00am until 4:00pm. Donations are welcome. Call or text Sue Germon at 281-761-4765 to arrange for drop-off or pick-up.

Pie Sale: Are you a baker? If so, they need your help! SOS is looking for homemade pies (or any type of homemade baked goods) for the SOS Pie Social being held on Sunday, August 6 following the George Memorial 5K. Arrangements can be made for pies to be picked up or you can drop them off to the SOS on Saturday, August 5 during the Garage Sale. You may also drop them off on Sunday morning between 8:30am - 10:00am at the SOS. Note a baker, but would like to donate $ for pies to be made? Please contact contact Kristie Ahern at 315-345-0992 to confirm all donations. Monday can be dropped off at 283 Lake Road, Star Lake or to Joe/Marie Russo, no later than August 4.

The SOS is a 501c3 organization, meaning that all donations are tax deductible. Forms are available for this use. In some cases, you employer may have a policy of matching your donation.
