St Lawrence Valley Primitive Snowshoe Biathlon

March 7 and 8, 2020
The event is open to Black Powder enthusiasts. The participants follow the trail goes through the woods, with five shooting stations, while wearing snowshoes. All black powder long arms are eligible for competition. Snowshoes are available for loan for event. For more information. The Biathlon requires that participants run (or walk briskly) along a snowshoe trail through the woods and fire a muzzle loading rifle or musket at each of 5 targets on the trail. Runners are timed, fire 2 shots at each target and throw a tomahawk; each hit reduces the runner’s time by 5 minutes.
