Description
A bird walk at Heritage Park will be on Saturday, August 28 at 8 a.m., led by Tom Langen.
Grasse River Heritage Board Member Tom Langen is an ornithologist and Professor of Biology at Clarkson University.
The walk at Heritage Park will look for early fall migrants.
Dr. Langen will talk about migration, and the importance of places like Heritage Park as 'fueling stations' for migratory birds.
Participants should bring binoculars if they have them. The walk is suitable for birders of any level, and children who are interested in birds are welcome.
