The Edwards Opera House Summer Series Presents:
THE ATKINSON FAMILY BAND PERFORMANCE

The Atkinson Family Band will perform at Edwards Opera House on Friday, May 10th from 7pm to 9pm. The Atkinsons are a traditional bluegrass band with a unique family vocal dynamic that bring a high-energy stage show and a refreshing mountain sound from the Adirondack foothills. Led by banjo player Dick Atkinson, the band's leader, the group's sound combines bluegrass, Americana, and original material. Shelene Atkinson on rhythm guitar, Liza Atkinson on vocals, mandolin, and guitar, and Sara Atkinson on bass contribute to the band's rich sound, while the well-known 2003 National Dobro Champion, Dave Bevins, adds his tasteful and inventive dobro playing.
