The Nicandri Nature Center’s  OPENING WEEKEND!
Join us in celebrating our official opening at The Eugene L. Nicandri Nature Center in Massena, NY with a slate of fun activities for this Memorial Day weekend.
 
All activities are free of charge.
 
Saturday 5/27 - Terrific Turtles Day!
10:00 am - Meet the Turtles and Turtle Feeding
10:00 am - Noon - Todd Truax from Mix 96.1
1:00 pm -  Silly Turtle Races
1:00-3:00pm  - Turtle Craft
 
Sunday 5/28 - Birds of Prey Day!
10:00 am -  Owl Pellets
1:00 pm -  Live birds of prey from Adirondack Raptors
 2:30 PM -  Nature Walk
 
Monday 5/29 - Fishing Fun Day!
10:00 am  – Fish Feeding
11:00 am – Fishing Skills – Target practice
1:00 pm – Learn to fish at Barnhart Beach
 2:30 pm - Fish Crafts
 
The Nature Center is now open 7 days a week, 9 am to 5 pm, Memorial Day through Labor Day.
