Dedication Concert presenting two shows! Double Trouble and featured artist Tracer James (steel guitar): Double Trouble (Bob & Dawna) along with featured artist, solo pedal steel guitarist Tracer James, will perform 6:30-7:30 as part of a 2-hour dedication show sponsored by The Alice Carr Memorial Fund.Dawna & Bob are honored to feature multi-talented musician/artist Tracer James. Tracer is well known for his rock & blues guitar performances but has added a self revised 6 knee levers, 9-pedal steel guitar to his many musical abilities and accomplishments! Tracer also plays drum, bass guitar and is a popular music instructor. Double Trouble has given past performances at the Norwood Concert Series, The Edwards Opera House, The Madrid Concert Series and for the last 6 years The Waddington Concert Series! This duo is proud to have a repertoire of a variety of genres embracing Country, Island Music, 50's 60's, 70's, 80's, Patriotic, Pop, and Classics.
Steelin' Country will complete this special evening with their performance from 7:30 -8:30. "Steelin' Country" The Lisbon-based group consists of Kirk Robinson on pedal steel guitar, Michelle Robinson and Dale Planty on vocals and guitar, Terry Robinson on electric guitar, Josh Barkley on bass, and Alex Hammond on percussion and vocals. This much loved local band band plays "real country" music from the past, along with several original compositions.Covid information will be posted as we review current guidelines and finalize decisions. For the past eleven years, the Concert Series has allowed us to showcase local North Country musical acts along with other acts not often showcased in this area. These acts brought enjoyment to over 6,500 people in 2019! The twelfth year of the Waddington Concert Series was scheduled to begin on June 19th, 2020. Due to the pandemic all concerts were rescheduled for summer 2021. We start off the tentative sensational 2021 season with our opening show on June 18th. We sincerely thank our supporters and entertainers for their understanding, cooperation and loyalty! We are excited to present nine fantastic concerts in our beautiful pavilion at Island View Park rain or shine!!! We can't wait to resume our series!
